The Christian worldview encompasses everything from philosophy to biology, filmmaking to homemaking, politics to poetry. In order to truly understand the first thing about any aspect of our world, we must see it in relation to God’s sovereign plan for history. The biblical worldview explains the universe as God's good but fallen creation redeemed by Christ, and thus imbues all of life with eternal significance.
God calls Christians to live, preach, and defend this message over against the innumerable counterclaims of lost humanity. The Clash is a six-day worldview conference that aims to equip young adults to worship and bear witness to Christ as Lord in every sphere of life and learning.
Lectures from Dr. D.A. Carson, Dr. Iain Duguid, Jeff Purswell, and Nathan Sasser will lay biblical foundations for rich reflections on philosophy, science, political theory, art, music, culture, apologetics, and more. Lectures will also provide theological and pastoral perspectives on educational and vocational decisions, particularly in light of biblical manhood and womanhood and the priority of the local church. Godly and successful professionals from Sovereign Grace churches will give practical perspectives on some specific career paths.
Small-group discussions, led by Sovereign Grace pastors, will provide a context for reflection, critical thinking, and application.
